Childminders from Wombwell have organised a walk in Wombwell Woods on Tuesday 30th June. The walk will take place through the woods, starting at 9:15am meeting in the car park. The walk is suitbale for everyone including young children with pushchairs.

The childminders who are leading the walk attended the volunteer walk leader training course and are now leading their own walks, to promote the health benefits of walking and the importance of physical activity.

The walk comes as an extension of the Fit for the Future Barnsley Walking Festival, as part of the move more events and the Department of Health national movement Change4Life.
