Barnsley Young People's Health Survey
The Barnsley Young People's Health Survey is a unique survey that identifies the health needs and behaviours of 14 and 15 year olds across Barnsley. The report and accompanying analysis has been produced by the Barnsley Public Health directorate. The research was commissioned and supported by the Barnsley Children and Young People's Partnership Board.
Young people's lifestyle behaviour and wellbeing are key to the future health of this population group. There are a number of issues and problems that impact directly on the young person. These impacts are not only related to the young persons health and wellbeing they also have a wider influence on their determinants of health.
We are sure that everyone working with children and young people, parents and young people themselves will find the information contained in this report to be interesting. It will be of value in helping to assess some of the most important factors that affect the lives of our young people both now and in the future.
