called is ‘Hands Free’ and offers more flexible appointments

Key Facts:
- Smoking is the main cause of avoidable illness and premature
death in Barnsley.
- Children in low income families are three times more
likely to be exposed to passive smoking at home than children
from professional families.
- Smoking during pregnancy increases the
risk of miscarriage, premature birth and low birth weight.
Low birth weight is associated with serious health and developmental
problems for babies.
Giving up smoking is the single most important thing anyone can
do to improve his or her health.
You’re up to 4 times more likely to quit with your local specialist stop
smoking team.
